The Saving Grace Orphanage International (SGOI) is a newer non-profit that came together in order to make a difference in the lives of children and their families around the world, starting with the Liberian community. We believe that by supporting the next generation and providing them with their basic needs they will grow and flourish. The next generation will be the leaders of tomorrow and by helping them we help the futures of many generations to come. Giving back to our community is our primary focus, to foster the development and expansion of families in need.

 

Saving Grace Orphanage International was established in 1999 to provide social services to displaced children in Liberia who were affected by the 15 year civil war.  It is in this light that some concerned persons in the Delaware Valley gathered together to help stabilize those children who became orphans and were abandoned due to the situation.
Although the war is over the devastating effect continues to retard lives.  Today, the organization is also serving children in the local community who have been destabilized by drugs and street crimes.   Some of these children are being raised by great-grand and grandparents.  The organization’s goal is to stabilize and enhance the condition of these children.
